I don't understand why it takes so long to pack a case and put it in the mail to NVC...

Up to 8 weeks, they said.

Hire more staff...

SO upset! crying.gifcray5ol.gifClockWatch2.gif

It's all good, you'll be notified soon enough. We were also approved on the 25th and got notified today that our petition was mailed to the NVC yesterday.

Oh Lord!

That's good news, so happy for you guys. Hoping to be next.

I have called NVC everyday, I e-mailed them too last week.

I did get an email today from NVC saying "We have received your inquiry and we have no records of your case, scan your approval notice and we will contact USCIS on your behalf regarding your case".

I'm at work, as soon as I'm done here I'm scanning the approval notice.

How you got notified by USCIS that it was sent?

Thansk and best wishes on this journey....

When we got notified that our case was approved and sent to the NVC I gave it 10 days then called them they told me the same thing it took 3 weeks ... but I emailed them too with all the required information and actually got a response faster when they received it and shipped it to the US Consulate. So email them. and they will send you the info faster when they get it as well you will still receive a letter from them. Stay strong and positive!smile.png

I hope your case gets transferred soon. Our petition was approved on May 9th and didn't reach NVC until August 1st. USCIS mistakenly sent the petition to NRC (national records center) instead of NVC (national visa center) . We got the senator and congress man involved before they did anything. Good luck

I scanned my Noa 2 and sent it to them as well because USCIS was taking forever to send my file to NVC. Needless to say my file finally got there in 15 business days after my approval and I received a response by email from NVC regarding my scanned NOA 2 after my interview letting me know my case was in the Santo Domingo Embassy and my Misa was being issued lol. So don't expect a quick response back. Just wait it will get there sooner than you think.

my case was sent to nvc august 13 and its still not in the system smh they are annoying me already

It won't go into the system until they get your physical file, which is mailed via snail mail, if I recall correctly. Have more patience -- it should be there in about a week.
