The kids and I had our medicals on 29 July and our interviews at the London Embassy on 30 July. Obviously we could not be approved then and there because they were awaiting our medical results. I logged on to the CEAC page last night and learned that our visas were issued on 12 August. Woo hoo! We did it!

My husband flies out on 16 August so fingers crossed he finds us a place to live as soon as possible so that the kids and I can book our tickets and be reunited as a family and start our new lives together soon. His motivation is that, since I am going to be living with his parents, he might just find himself an orphan if I am stuck with them for too long. :P

Anyway, I really wanted to post to say a massive and heart-felt thanks to everyone on here who has helped me along the way by helping me get to grips with the process, answer my daft questions to reassure me I was interpreting things correctly and for all of the general encouragement and support. You guys are superstars!

Married a US/UK dual national in 1996 and had four children together.
Immigration Timeline: I130 Approval November 2012; Interview July 2013; Immigration October 2013. (Note, however, that we chose to stall the process for personal scheduling reasons)
As a family of six, we relocated from Argyll in Scotland to Pennsylvania in October 2013. 

I applied for Citizenship in October 2017 and am currently waiting for an Interview date.

Good luck with staying with the in-laws. Maybe find a temporary hobby that takes you out of the house *a lot*. ;)

* Naturalisation (Citizenship) via Phoenix Lockbox

* San Francisco Field Office:
1st May 2016 - N-400 window opened
20th August 2016 - N-400 filed
26th August 2016 - NOA1
13th September 2016 - Biometrics

My husband is going to be working in Philadelphia so we are going to be living within the Philly commuter belt - we just don't know precisely where yet.
