you seem a bit of a smoothie!

LOL, thanks Jacque. But only when I mix milk, fruit, and ice cream in a blender. I'm about as smooth as a corn cob...

I have a great family and two sons from a previous life. They have been great and incrediably supportive. Love her more than me seems like sometimes, hahaha. A have a couple friends that I rarely see anymore due to their jealous, self rightous and ignorant wives. But thats ok with me as I didn't care to be around thise women anyway. I have tins of friends and met a few more since abs got here and our life is great...Good thing is my wife didn't care for them first meeting as well. Life is too short.

Don't you just hate when other people judge the person you love especially when they have not even met the person yet. They tell you "oh your making a mistake by petitioning him/her. he/she is just going to use you for the papers and leave you once he/she gets what he/she needs". How do most of you feel when your love one is being judge by family or friends?

It's awful, but what can you do? I'm also faced with a wide age gap and fortunately most everyone I know has this resolved in their mind, but for one in particular, they just don't get it. Now it's simply time to move on, the naysayers have only alienated themselves from us, and probably made us even more determined, that's all they've accomplished.

I get this sometimes. Most just go off their perception rather than presenting irrefutable evidence that a deception is in play. Tell them to pound sand.

If I had a friend who was marrying a woman from the other side of the planet that he had only met one time, I'd probably question the relationship too. It didn't bother me that people worried about me and questioned what I was doing. They were honestly just trying to look out for me. However, I knew something that they didn't....I knew the person on the other side of the planet. And once they met her, they understood and all the comments stopped; well, except the comments to her now about why she's with me when she could do so much better. I need better friends. ranting33va.gif

thanks. my fiance always tells me if i had intentions of using you first think about me being the peitioner & you being the beneficiary...how do you think i would feel if i petitioned you and then you leave me once you get your papers and he tells me i am sacrificing not being able to spend Christmas with my family for years just so i can be with you and if i only had a choice i would rather us stay in the Philippines as life here is happy & relaxing.
