I'm trying to apply for citizenship, but i don't know which papers or documents to provide.

And, I'm currently unemployed, would that hurt me in anyway?

Finally, Is it recommened to apply for the citizenship as soon as im eligible to do so, or is it ok to apply later ( due to shortage of money lol ).

The form is N400 and the instructions and lots of other information are available on uscis.gov.

8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

The form you need is N400. Read and follow the instructions that go with it.

You being unemployed doesn't affect your application for citizenship. You also don't have to apply as soon as you're eligible. You can wait as long as you want or never apply at all if you don't want to and just keep renewing your green card.

09-03-2013: Inline for interview (Yellow letter received: 10-23-13)
11-04-2013: Interview scheduled (Received: 11-09-13)
12-12-2013: Interview (Approved)
01-03-2014: Oath ceremony, passport application and passport received

DONE!
