Dear all! My son is beneficiary of i-130 petition. It was send to USCIS on May, 2012 and approved on June 19, 2013. USCIS had to send it to NVC, however, 8 weeks passed and they still have no this petition. Today we have sent research message to NVC but they said it could take up to 8 weeks to get any information of the petition. I am afraid, if the petition could be lost. What should be done to handle situation? NVC said it was unusual not to receive petition within 8 weeks and I get nervous if it was lost and we should start all again. Could you help me with advise?
