I'm not sure you can reschedule for an earlier date once you have received your appointment. When sending my forms to the embassy, I also provided a letter explaining that I would be available for short notice appointments should any cancellations arise as me and my fiance have a child together who is now registered as an american citizen and my fiance misses him terribly! My interview was scheduled for 10 days after I received my letter and have it this Monday!

If you are desperate, you may want to try sending a letter asking or informing that you would be available for short notice appointments!

Good luck :)

It can't hurt to try! Now that they are aware of your circumstances, should any cancellation spots come up, I can't see why they would not consider moving your interview closer.

Hope you get the good news you are waiting on!

hello - my fiancée lives in Samarkand and we received our NOA2 in June. unfortunately, we are in same situation - her interview is not until September 24th. She actually made the journey to the Tashkent embassy to see if date could be changed, and was told very politely "No". It appears they are running behind schedule right now with worker visas, and are only periodically doing K-1 interviews. I wish I had better news. Good luck to you and feel free to contact if there is any information I could share with you.

Thank you for wrighting me back it is really hard to get in touch with the Embassy me and my fiance tried to call them this past week and no luck. Then I wrote them an email asking them if they got our case they wrote me back saying that they got our case and that they couldn't get in touch with my fiance so they send me the package #3 which i send it to her right away and helped her to get those forms ready. I have a question when the package#3 is ready should my fiance send it through mail to Emabassy or what should we do?
