Ok so I'm finally almost at the last hurdle and have sent all my forms off to the London embassy and I've had my medical.I called DOS today who informed me they logged my medical results yesterday.my forms haven't been logged yet but the embassy should of got them the end of last week .I've since read on the embassy website it can take them four weeks to log them.which would take us to the start of September,so my interview date would likely to be another 4 weeks from then which takes us to October.

Since sending my forms I've found out my soon to be mother in law had gone ahead and put a deposit down on my dream wedding venue and I now have a wedding date for 23rd November.I didn't want to set a date til I had my visa but it was a surprise.so now my question is It isn't really ideal for me to be stuck here til around of the end of October now I have a wedding date .there Is things to sort out and plan .plus we both have family with booked flights of November 14th comming in for the wedding.ideally I want to be able to leave uk before September is out .should I write another cover letter to the embassy to tell them I now have a wedding date?

Shouldn't you be asking this in the UK forum where people are familiar with the London embassy procedures?
