NVC just recieved our case today and we got our NOA2 on July 26. Just wait a couple more days. It should be received soon.

Hang in there,they should send it soon.My NOA2 is July 26 and NVC got my case on August 12&on August 13 they send to my Consulate.So they'll move fast once gets to NVC;)

Add us to the bunch.. our NOA2 notice date was JUL 29 and I've been checking every few days to no avail either! I'm currently on hold though and will ask to speak to Tier 2 as well........ hope they gimme some better news!

BTW, wasn't there a way to check (about) what # they are on based on the EAC #'s or was that only for the NOA1...? I'd love to see my status!

Just got a notice from USCIS, Yesterday (Aug 14) our case was shipped to NVC. NOA2 = 28 Jul

I hope it goes quicker from now on. I already have all papers ready for my fiancee and interview fee paid.

So the moment you found out your case was shipped (yesterday) they immediately gave you your case # and you paid the interview fee already? All in 1 day huh??

No, I did not get the case number yet. And in Ukraine you do not need the case number to pay for the interview, the payment is valid for a year, so we paid as soon as we received our NOA2. Now, as soon as we get our NVC number we will schedule the interview and medical.

Approved NOA2 July 30th, I'm in Cali, called this am at 6:30am and still no case. Decided to call again at 11:24am and got a case # now. Thanks!!

What's different from this last call was they actually asked for Petitioner/Befenficiary's name and bday. They never asked that from my previous 56 calls.

I just got off the phone from dos they said no case number yet call back again in few weeks. Noa2 approved 29th July. Well I will say this thing is takeing way too long.

did you get a message that your case was shipped to dos?

No I didn't get any message. My status has not changed since approval.still on post decision. I have to say though the lady at the dos was very nice said i can call every few days to check. But they say a few weeks it might be less they can't say when.

I just spoke to a person at NVC too. Of course, they did not receive the case yet. But since It was shipped out yesterday I assume they should have it by the end of next week.

I think you will also first receive a notice of shippment and only after that the number from NVC.

The lady did say that they send out a letter when it gets shipped. It's just taking long really. Fingers cross I will call Monday.

Strange. Sounds to me like your persistency gave them the kick up the booty they needed. Lesson to all of us waiting don't take not ready for a answer call back the next day and day after that till they get fed up and produce a case number.
