Frustrated with USCIS - NOA2 approved but not forwarded yet.

well it depends where your petition is at, some offices are quicker to send approved files to NVC, others wait for a pile to sent at once, for K1 looks like files approved after July 26 will make their way to NVC soon.

July 30th NOA2. No news from NVC. I have been calling them a lot. First you wait to get approved, and then wait for them to forward to consulate! I don't understand why we are waiting again!

Our NO2 date is 22nd of July as we are still waiting for NVC to receive the case. We have been calling almost everyday and they keep telling us it takes up to 8weeks....we are more frustrated here!!!!!

USCIS sent my approved petition to NVC on August 13th. I called today and they told me it takes up to 8 weeks which doesn't make sense to me when I've seen other timelines that nvc has the paper work two days later....

Our NOA2 was approved July 31, 2013 and got it in the mail, however I have had no updates that it has been forwarded to NVC and call every few days which they state they haven't received. I have looked at other timelines that show a much quicker response, what is going on?

Our NOA2 was on Jul 22. Just got the text and checked it online, they're just now forwarding the petition to NVC. Trust me, it is frustrating, but be patient.

Just got a notice from USCIS, Yesterday (Aug 14) our case was shipped to NVC. NOA2 = 28 Jul

I hope it goes quicker from now on. I already have all papers ready for my fiancee and interview fee paid.

From where did you get the text? USCIS or NVC? Can anyone tell me how we will be notified when our case get forwarded to NVC & NVC further forwards to consulate. Bit confused. On my NOA2 letter it is mentioned that "The above petition has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate. Please contact the consulate with any questions about visa issuance....." Does it mean that I have to contact directly to consulate and not not NVC? Anybody????

We received our NOA2 on the 28th of July and just got our message 10 minutes ago that it was forwarded to NVC. Give it a few more days and try calling. I called because I had not received a hard copy of the approval. I still haven't but they told me I should get it by 23 August. Good luck!!

You'll get that notification from USCIS. If you signed up for an account and have an electronic notification, you'll be able to receive them via text message or email. I know, it says that, but they said it depends on the service center when they forward cases to NVC. Some of them apparently wait to ship them in a bulk (a couple of weeks or so), some do it every week.

my was aprove on agust 1 i just call to nvc they told me to wait 8 weeks more ;/ and Dos said 3 to 4 weeks

It can take longer than others don't worry. Ours took a whole month to reach NVC and I remember how frustrated and worried I was also. But just be patient cuz there's nothing to worry about.
