Anybody got new approvals from nebraska, it is kinda quite these days

Good question, I would like to know that as well. Does anyone know how long does it take once I-130 is approved for spouse to come to US? Assume priority date stays current for most of us.

Does anyone know about police clearance?

I mean should we wait for the IV packet to come or we should collect it and make it ready to send?

Also in India where to get it from? Passport office or local police station?

Anything particular to add in it?

Just wanted to let you know that after all this time, we finally got the approval today. PD: May 16th, 2013.

For all the people that is still waiting because the case is outside the processing time, don't give up, call USCIS or make an e-request. We believe that it always depends on the officer that is reviewing your case and its workload.

Just to let you know that it is a lengthy process. You are from India so letting you know that you need to get first verification from local police station and final clearance certificate will be from local passport office. One of my friend recently did it who told me yesterday about it

Yeah it is lengthy process but after getting verification from local police station in 1 day I went to passport office and got it in a day. I was having some jack so may be I got it in 2 days.

Thank you for your support. I just called USCIS and filed a special request for going beyond the officially released processing times. I hope it's going to help moving my case.
