Yeah. But hoping for some fast process. From others timeline I guess it takes 3-4 months to complete process at NVC. Though not sure.smile.png

Dont forget good old visa cut off dates. That has screwed many people before.

Good question, I would like to know that as well. Does anyone know how long does it take once I-130 is approved for spouse to come to US? Assume priority date stays current for most of us.

Thanks to almighty..just received I-130 approval.

PD: 13th,Feb and transferred to Nebraska on 20th Aug.

Any one can please share what is the next process and which thread I can follow for queries/concerns.

Good luck to all....keep your hope alive.

September 12, 2013 - Transfer to Nebraska

September 20, 2013 - Case touched

November 14, 2013 - NOA 2

Case shipped to DOS - November 19, 2013

NVC Stage

December 11, 2013 - NVC received my case

December 30, 2013 - NVC case number issued

January 2, 2013 - NVC issued invoice number

January 13, 2013 - DS261 filled out

January 15, 2013 - AOS invoice received and paid

January 17, 2013 - AOS package sent

January 21, 2014 - Fed ex delivered package (NVC confirmed receipt on 22nd)

January 21, 2014 - IV fee invoice received and paid

January 22, 2014 - IV documents sent (payment in process but cleared from bank)

January 23, 2014 - submitted DS260 form, iv documents delivered per fedex (24th per NVC)

February 12, 2014 - received fake checklist for IV package

February 21, 2014 - Case completed (by phone)

April 2, 2014 - Called and got interview date May 13, 2014

May 13, 2014 - Counsel needed some time to to review docs

May 27, 2014 - Interview round two and visa approved

June 2, 2014 - Visa pick up date

Yeah I am not aware of that but as per current process the chances are very less to have retrogation back to 2011.

Yours took a long time as your PD is in Nov 2012, Congrats! I hope they do adjudicate the rest cases by end of this month. It is very hard to understand why some cases took this long.

I just called USCIS and talked to tier 2 officer as my PD is 2/15/13. They said wait for 160 days.

Even though USCIS.gov shows the processing date of 3/27/13, he said USC is processing cases of october.

No answere why they are taking so long.

Last week I got a later from them my case is in additional review. I am not sure what they are reviewing. Althoguh I got a green card from previous marriage but I applied after 3 yrs of this.

Doesn't matter anymore as in 3 months I will be US citizen as well. Hope to get my form approve sooner

I know it is frustrating. My PD is 2/15/13 but last week they send me the letter that my case is under additional review as you mentioned in one of your earlier post.

Have had a divorce case previously. I am thinking my case is in review because of it.

Thanks Doc731, its good to know at least your case could be delayed because of previous marriage situation. My case should be simple. Its my first marriage and she is from my home country but a few weeks back I run across an article which was very scary. I know a couple myself who has to wait for nearly 3 years and the guy was US Citizen.

I do think we should raise our concern on some level.

Doc731, even in your case, divorces does happen. As long as both parties doesn't have no criminal record and there is no obvious indication that the marriage is in bad faith, they should delay the cases at least by this big margin.
