hello i read this thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/459559-news-from-aila-conference/ posted by blueberry pancake

Laurel Scott They said the remaining cases at local office -except for a few stragglers with RFEs - will be cleared out by the end of October.

so i assumed u guys will get all your noa2 this month of october... that is the reason why we havent seen transfer after august... so just hope no RFEs

@e24 i suggest u wait before u expedite plus dunno if its favorable for u to do it,,, i saw this thread..

Cat21, thanks for sharing about the i130. Regarding the expidite i was also thinking that if il request that my daughters case will be taken out of line thus making the wait longer. Im really sorry sometimes i get so frustrated and hopeless and kept thinking ways to be reunited with my family again. Good thing we have this thread its very helpful.

But i have not heard of any transfers after september. I think the transfers have now stopped.

I am very hopeful that all 2013 petitions filed before september will be processed before Mid November.

I have also filed for naturalization, finger print was done Oct 4th, no word yet on interview date. This is probably for another forum but I am curious how long did it take for you guys to become citizen? I want to travel home for thanksgiving and spend sometime with family but not sure if its a bad thing if they schedule my interview while I am out of country.

It depends on your local office. It can take from 4 to 6 months on average.

So looks like you are waiting for final approval for about 4 months since your I-130 was approved in June. I don't know how long does it take after noa2, I would like to know as wel. Does anyone have any idea?
