I'm not saying that's exactly what it is, but I've been following this Nebraska transfer from about July and most people get their NOA2's a little less than a month after transferred. So I assume some time next week you will get an update. Let me know if this is the case

Thanks ,Sure will let you know.

I applied I130 for my wife with PD 4/5/2013 at Vermont Center. On Sept 4, 2013 it was transferred to Nebraska. On Sept 10, 2013, I received an update saying that my case was being processed. When I applied I was a Permanent Resident. Now I am a citizen. I am not sure if I should upgrade my status with USCIS for my wife's I130 application. I don't want to further delay it if its already close to being approved. I have seen others with 2013 PD and received an approval after their I130 was transferred to Nebraska from Vermont. Anyone have any advice for me?

I would suggest to call and ask them tentative time to get your I-130 approved. But still I believe better to upgrade your case that will help you at NVC stage as well.

Hi Newbie, I am in a similar situation as you. I petitioned for my kids on 1/7/13 as an LPR. On July 23rd I upgraded my cases to that of Immediate Relative when I got naturalized. However, on September 4th, my cases still got transferred to Nebraska. At this point it doesn't matter either way because we will get the approval sometime in the next two weeks and as for the NVC, our priority dates are current.

I am wondering if there is a high priority preference for IR when compared to F2A at the NVC stage.
