Transfer from VSC to TSC... any feedback?

Hello all!

I live in NYS, and received my NOA1 date on July 8th.

August 9th my case was transferred to the TSC, and when I called customer care they said it was to speed up the process since Texas had less work to be done.

I did a little research, and from doing so noticed a lot of folks whose case was transferred from VSC to TSC they received NOA2 within a month!

I dont want to get my hopes up, but I am staying hopeful.

I haven't seen my fiance since November 2012, and I really miss her. sad.png

Anyone have any experience with these case transfers???

AOS

April 18th 2014 - I-485 in acceptance.

June 26th 2014 - EAD/AP approved.

July 2nd 2014 - EAD/AP card arrived in the mail.

August 2nd 2014 - Potential Interview Waiver letter.

Jan 22nd 2015 - Submitted service request to USCIS on delay.

Jan 28th 2015 - Answer to service request that it's still being processed, and apologized for the delay.

Feb 26th 2015 - Jan 26th 2015- Sent in EAD to be renewed.

March 4th 2015- Renewal of EAD received by USCIS.

April 8th 2015 - I-485 Approved / Welcome letter sent.

April 13th 2015 - Welcome letter recieved.

April 15th 2015 - Card mailed.

This is a good FAQ on transferred cases.

They generally go pretty fast once they are transferred...so I don't think it's a bad thing now that you're at the TSC...however, your mileage may vary.

My NOA1 was April 8th and transferred from VSC to TSC on July 10th. I have not heard anything since the transfer. I thought I would have heard something by now but nothing. Everyday I am looking at my phone like a maniac waiting for a text or email from them saying SOMETHING is happening. It's not easy.

We were also transferred to TSC from VSC and our NOA 1 is March 8. I talked to 2 different Tier 2 IO's and one said we were approved on July 18th but didn't know when we would receive the NOA 2. The other said our approval was "ordered" on the 18th and said we "should" receive NOA 2 this month. Needless to say, we are still waiting.

It surely is not easy, but it is worth it.

I'm glad I came across this forum a few months back!!!

It has been very helpful, and I hope you BOTH get your NOA2's within this month.

It's hard to guess anything because everyones time line is really different.

..I will be posting in here as soon as I do get mine.

Typically though I have seen a HUGE percentage of people get their NOA2's within 5 weeks of the transfer... soon soon soon.
