Hello guys, I'm new here at visajourney.com so sorry about something that I did wrong.

Well, my case is: I'm a F1 visa and married with permanent resident (my wife has greencard that she got from her father that is citizen already.) She got her greencard just 2/half years ago so she has more 2/half years to get her citizenship. We got married 1 year ago and we have a little daughter (and of course she is american already).

My "problem" is that I've been working and declared my tax as 1099, so I went to two lawyers and both said the same thing to me: your taxes can be a problem for you case, because since you're student you coundn't be working.

I saw in bulletin that F2A is still current ©) so I'm running to try getting my green card.

do you guys think this fact about my 1099 could be a problem to me?
