Hi everyone!

My hubby is probably just a little impatient as well as a little paranoyed. Any insite that can be given would be great. Just looking to pass on some information. Here is our story:

December of 2011 I found out I was pregnant. We knew we wanted to try to bring my mother in law over as soon as possible to help with the new baby due Aug 2012. My husband started the paperwork we submitted the I-130 as well as the afidavid of support. Months went by and didnt even recieve NOA1. About 8 months later we found out that our paperwork never got processed and it must have been lost. So here we were in April 2013 completing paperwork yet again except this time our son was almost 9 months old. April 16, 2013 our application was recieved and the NOA1 was issued April 18, 2013. IT says it is at the National Benefits Center. When I check the status online it still says initial review. I have seen on the discussions that parents have come here in 5 -6 months. We are now working on 4 months and still no word if we are missing any documents or even if its getting approved. So I do see how my husband is starting to to ancy about this. I dont know if it helps but his mom lives in India.

I would love to hear about other's timelines, what I should be looking out for in the next few months. Any advise or words of encouragement that I could pass on to my hubby.

Thanks everyone for your help!

Thanks! Just want to make sure we are still on track everything i look at online has a different answer and when I tried to look up time line on the USCIS for form I-130 for National Benefts Center that form isnt listed there. This is all new to me and my husband and after having paper lost ect over a year ago it makes us uneasy.
