Hi!

I'm new here, and hope that I'm posting this in the correct location. My question is in regards to the k-1's duplicate package: do I need to make two checks; one for my filing, and another for my fiancée's package?

Hi!

A duplicate of the check, if it is from your bank, is probably not necessary. Better would be to go online and print a copy of the cancelled check which actually shows payment was made and a copy of the NOA1 receipt. If you pay by money order (I do not recommend it) then a copy of the MO is a good idea

Make sure to keep a copy of the package yourself.

You will probably NOT be asked for it at the interview in Kiev. However, better to have a copy of everything. Also your fiancee can study everything. It somethimes happens that they may ask her questions which come from your petition and documents attached so she should study that.
