Effective August 19, 2013, the U.S. Consulate General in Casablanca is transitioning to a new visa appointment and document delivery system. This new system, which is being implemented at U.S. Embassies worldwide, will be more convenient and provides the following features:

- an improved online appointment system

- a phone line with extended hours for visa inquiries

- a passport or document drop-off and/or pick up at an Aramex service location in Rabat or Casablanca.

In connection with these changes, please be informed of the following:

- If you already scheduled a non-immigrant visa appointment through the old system, that appointment date is still valid. It is strongly advised that you pay your visa fees at a BMCI Bank before August 19 in order to avoid having to use the new system for payment. You should appear at the consulate on the day of your appointment with your BMCI visa application fee receipt and your DS-160 confirmation page. During this transition period, you will be instructed about document delivery and passport pickup at the end of your visa interview.

- If you have already paid the visa application fee at BMCI Bank but have not yet made an appointment, you should schedule one through our old system by visiting our website at http://morocco.usembassy.gov/visas.html no later than August 19, 2013.

- Fiancé(e) applicants with approved petitions should wait until they are contacted by the U.S. Consulate for instructions on how to schedule a visa appointment under the new system. These instructions will also be published on our website and will guide you through the appointment scheduling and document delivery process.

- If you require an appointment on or after August 19, 2013, you must make an appointment through www.ustraveldocs.com.
