Just received a phone call from the USCIS this morning at 7:30am asking if I had received my Appointment letter the day before, which I did (didn't get a text message about the Letter being sent though)

Is this something new they doing now? Phone call totally surprised me.

Are they trying to make up for scheduling mistake they did to me from 2 weeks ago?

I just thought it was totally weird to get a phone call from them, figured they are too busy to be doing that.
