G325-A and Letter of intent form question

When my fiance who lives overseas fills out the G325-A form, can she send me a copy of the form?

Because it says on the guide that "All Forms that you submit must be originals with original signatures". So i was wondering, what would happen if she prints it, signs it, copies it and then sends it? would it be ok? how would i obtain the original if not?

Also I have many people telling me to do the K-1 Visa because it is faster and I have the choice of doing either K-1 or Cr-1 because of my circumstance. Under Islamic law I am technically married amongst my family members because it is required for me to have a nikah in order to be able to talk with my fiance or now considered in my eyes, wife. How would the government know I am married or not? It is in Saudi Arabia and it is not documented meaning I don't have an official marriage certificate under the state of Saudi Arabia or the consulate or embassy of Saudi Arabia. So I dont know what route to take on this? any advice is appreciated.

hi, she has to send you the form through the mail with her signed signature, and the letter of intent to marry from her if you choose fiancé visa. I don't know enough about visas to advise you on which one to file for but either way you do it, you have to be able to prove it.

Marry there and do Direct Filing CR1visa it is much faster than mailing it in. When you file K1 or CR1 visa neither is faster when you file in the states so the best option is to file in your country. IJS

Can she not just sign it and send it to me through email instead of mail? It will still be signed.

Can I do direct filing while im in the states?

DCF is only available in countries that have a USCIS field office. After going through some of the OP's content, it appears that the country of the beneficiary does not have a USCIS field office and therefore DCF is not available.

She would need to provide you a limited power of attorney for the sole purpose of signing the form on her behalf.

You said "married under Islamic law," does the country where you were married in recognize this as a valid and legal marriage? If so, then you cannot do the K1.

I don't understand what you mean by limited power of attorney. Are you saying I must get a lawyer to file?

Will we be able to have her print it, sign it, scan it, and send it through email? will this work? same goes to the letter of intent. How did you guys do it? Umm..My fiance actually sent it in the mail. But I don't see any problem with her scanning it and then you printing it. As long as its signed by her you should be fine. I don't think they care where it was printed lolz

That's not what I'm saying at all. If you want to sign her G-325A form for her, she has to give you limited power of attorney in order for you to do that.

Specific to your situation, a limited power of attorney is a written authorization that allows you to sign the form, filled in with her information on her behalf. It would only be limited to the G-325A, nothing else.

I sent mine by scan to my fiance and our lawyer didn't say anything I think it will be ok as long as signed by her.

i sent few pieces of empty G-325A form with only my signature by DHL to my husband in US for him to complete the form.

we have no RFE/checklist.

i have read in one of the threads here that there is one who received RFE because they just scanned and print the document with signature instead of actually having the form signed. I think it would be best if your fiance abroad will just send u through mail or an express courier service (faster) the forms with his/her actual signature
