But even thou its a holiday dosent mean the enbasy is close for interview... so just call NVC n verify...

no no u are wrong... once your documents sent to embassy, u dealing with embassy not NVC anymore. specially about schedule. contact embassy for sure. if u call nvc, nvc will tell u to call embassy. haha, waste of time..

Did u call embassy , how mnay days does it take to transfer package from nv to embassy after case complete ?

NVC will coordinate with embassy to find suitable date for your I/L, and usually NVC will announce it to u on last week of the month until first week of the next month. if u haven't got until first week of the month u have to wait another month to get I/L.

the next day after they set an I/L for you, NVC will transfer your case to embassy. after that, u dealing with embassy. not nvc anymore..

hopefully u will get your I/L end of this month. Good Luck...!

For October Interviews kindly update me if your Interview went well and visa is issued. For some reason, on our Consulate (Manila), 5 people with interview today (Oct 3, 2013) did not get their immigrant visa and they advise to wait for another email from NVC for interview appointment for November. Strange..... maybe because of Shutdown????
