Hi peeps,

I actually sent my application in July before I came across VJ.

These are the items I sent:

Marriage cert

Child birth cert

Mortgage letter showing mortgage paid off

Latest 3 months Bank statement - joint checking acct from BoA

Latest 3 months Bank statement - joint checking acct from Chase

2012 tax return form 1040 as downloaded from Turbotax (filed as joint/marriage)

Car insurance showing name and spouse name

Latest 1x month Utility bill in my name - electricity bill

Latest 1x month utility bill in spouse name - water bill

Copy of Spouse's American passport

Copy of Child's American passport

My Q is, are these enough evidence, or am I still able to send more supporting documents; or shall I wait till I get RfE before I act?

If I can send more docs in now, will these be sufficient:

24 months Bank statements for joint checking acct with BoA and Chase?

Copy of Health Insurance card showing spouse and child?

Car Vehicle Registration showing joint ownership?

Any other valid document I can send?

Thanks

Allta

Yes, you can send - use the reference number from the NOA1 letter to enable them to club those together.

You don't have enough evidence spanning the time from when you received green card. Bank statements - send full statements covering every three months from green card received.

Same with utility bills.

Taxes - you need 2011 at least as well if not 2010 - get from IRS.gov they prefer tax transcripts which are free.

Health insurance cards are ok but you should have explanation of benefits (EOB) statements which you can send it - you had a child so you must've gone to doctor for checkups, no?

Copy of your green card front and back is missing as well.

Naturalization 2010

I sent copy of green card, front and back.

I'm waiting on my transcripts from IRS for 2011 and 2012. Once I get this, will send to IRS with the noA letter, also will include 2yrs bank statements and then insurance card with drivers license

I don't think sending before RFE will make any harm; worst case they will not acknowledge and will send me RFe or to come do interview

NOA provides that option in paragraph 4. Go ahead and send any additional evidence you have (after you get your IRS Tax Transcripts) along with a copy of your NOA.
