Hello house,

Does anyone have an update on this issue....Please kindly advice. What about these two choices, return it because it's wrong with the I-90 or keep it and remember to remove conditions on your own. You will need to still remove conditions if you have a CR1 even if they give you a 10 year expiry date on the green card.

Return it because when you file ROC, the mailroom people might return it and say it is still valid even though it is not. It's too confusing. Just return it now. You can get a stamp in your passport in the meantime so you can work and travel and everything without the physical GC.

My husband received the same GC and we called the USCIS and spoke to two officers. We were told it is a mistake after we explained the situation. We requested a supervisor to call us back. They took our info and said we will get a call back with 10 working days. We are still waiting for a call. It has been only a little over a week now. Please take note that it is a mistake and if you keep it without bringing it to their attention, you will be held accountable for your part.

Call USCIS and make an inquiry, take every agent's name and number and don't forget to ask for you inquiry number which they should provide you with. Will keep you posted as to what they do with our case. I hope this helps.

So we are suppose to correct them that they made a mistake after paying $165. This immigration system does not make any sense at all. and it might even take upto 6 months to receive it back.

You can return the card at no cost to obtain a replacement. It's their mistake.

* I-130/CR-1 visa by Direct Consular Filing in London
3rd May 2013 - Married in London
7th May 2013 - I-130 filed
4th June 2013 - NOA2 (approved)
16th July 2013 - Interview (approved)
30th July 2013 - POE San Francisco
29th August 2013 - 2 year green card arrived

1st May 2015 - 90 day RoC window opened

I heard about an email. From uscis sent to some person concerning this issue,indicating they should return it to an address listed in d email. Did anybody get such? Pls ur response is appreciated.
