Again you are misquoting me for some unknown reason. Why would I be against anyone to adjust?

All I am saying is let them adjust and give them a separate category since their situation is different from those undergoing consular processing and if you keep them in the same category it puts negative pressure on those who are undergoing consular processing simply because they are sharing the same number of visa pool and there is a quota in place for each country.

We are happy that F2a can adjust.

You are the one complaining that it's unfair. You would like them not to be able to adjust.

How does it help you if people can't adjust? Why is it unfair to you to let them adjust?

Just answer these simple questions.

Technically they can, but these days the USCIS will look at it with intent of fraud - most immigration attorneys advise against it. Some case have gone through some have not.

You should be happy that F2A is current. When you married a LPR of the US, then you knew you would have to wait years to join. Now you don't have to wait years.

And the "negative pressure" you talk about is only in your mind. It's not true at all.

I am the LPR - my wife is the beneficiary. F2A being current is meaningless if your NVC hasn't been processed or as in Pakistan that even after the interview they put your case in AP for months n months or even years at a time for no explained purpose.
