Need help!

Hi anyone here. I got an email saying that a RFE was sent to me on Nov 17. However, I haven't received it yet. It has been more than two weeks. I made an infopass last Wed and called the customer service. Neither of them could tell me what the RFE is. The infopass officer told me that only thing she could do was to have the MSC office send it to me again. Will she really ask to resend it for me? Do I need to go to the infopass again for the RFE? Normally how long will I get it after making the infopass? Anyone had the similar experience here? Please give me some advice. Thanks.

I've definitely had experience with correspondence from USCIS taking way longer than necessary to arrive. I'd say wait two more weeks. If 30 days pass and you haven't received your RFE, then schedule an Infopass appointment.

Then again, if your local district office is nearby and it's convenient to do so, it might not hurt to try sooner. Ours is an hour and a half drive away.

Their idea of mailing is the fact that it left the desk to go to the mail room, It probably take 3-4 days to actually go out.

They'll tell you it can take upto 30 days to receive it, so wait those 30 days and then call back. Then they'll probably wait another 30 days while they look into it, so at that point the infopass is a good idea!
