how long did it take for you IV(230) invoice to show up?

hi all

This question is for CR-1 folks out there, just wondering how long did it take for your DS230(IV) to be invoiced so you can pay and file ship to NVC? I have already paid AOS in july( and shipped it) and just recd the DS 3032 acceptance after almost 2 weeks... I'm hoping its close ...I am so ready to get this mailed off and wait for the interview to be assigned at last... I have checked the payment portal daily... just curious how long it took for you all.... thanks!!!

Met 10/2009Married 9/13/2012 in indiaFiled I-130 12/4/2012Assigned MSC case # 12/6/20122/14/2013 called uscis and on 1/30/2013 case moved from MSC to Chicago local office.4/17/2013 letter from senator durbin's office that a inquiry will be made on my case and to allow 30-60 days6/7/2013 NOA2 !!!!! while I am visiting my baby!!!!7/12/2013 letter from senator and copy of USCIS email to them stated our case heading to NVC 7/23/2013 NVC # assigned!!!!!!7/25/2013 called for Invoice identification number and had them add yash's email( Yash sent DS3032 via email nex day)7/29/2013 rec'd email from NVC with DS3032 and AOS invoice, paid today $88 mailed hardcopy of DS 30328/1/2013 AOS pkg mail via fed ex8/6/2013 AOS rec'd @NVC8/12/2013 DS3032 accepted IV invoiced8/15/2013 IV fed ex'd9/9/13 dreaded checklist asking for DS260 b/c DS230 obsolete<p>9/11/13 electronic submission of DS260 accepted
9/17/2013 called NVC case was completed as of today

10/1/2013 rec'd interview letter and date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11/4/2013 INTERVIEW

RESULT....APPROVED!!!

11/12/2013 email to pick up visa!!!

09/09/15-12/2016 ROC +interview= appproved in over a year

12/21/2016 fedex'd N-400 application and per fedex was rec'd

April 19, 2013 - submit the form I-130

April 22, 2013 - Receive the NOA1

July 29, 2013 - Approved NOA2 ( 82 working days)

July 30, 2013 - USCIS shipped my documents to NVC

Aug 5, 2013 - Arrived at NVC Building

Aug 13, 2013 - Got the NVC case # via PHONE

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay

Aug 17, 2013 - Got an email to print the COVER SHEET

Aug 21, 2013 - send the AOS overnight at NVC

Aug 28, 2013 - Accept the DS-3032

Aug 30, 2013 - IV BILL pay and Documents Sent to NVC receive the checklist AOS.

September 19, 2013 Sent back the checklist

September 20, 2013 Sept 26, arrived @ NVC

Sept 30,2013 - already encode to their system

if you are petitionin a relative, you should read the first 2 posts that are found in the NVC Filers thread under the CR1 Progress Reports folder. Saylin has various links that can answer these questions. That is how I learned what to expect. I am almost done with the NVC stage.

I read that you can go here: https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

and sign in using your case number and invoice number. If you dont have those read the thread i mention. it will give you directions on where to obtain this info. Once you have both of these numbers you can attempt to sign on every day until you find that you have been invoice.

Usually they assign you a case number and then they enter your case number and then they invoice. see my timeline to get an idea of the process. but your best bet is to ready up.

Opps! I just read your question again. 12 business days was for my husband's email to be accepted. But once it was accepted I was invoice the very next day! So you should have it shortly. I knew it was coming because the payment portal did not allow me to login in and I got an error message. So don't freak out, this may or may not happen. But this is good news.

Hope they will send me an invoice today also :)

I just my 3032 form on AUg 1 by email..still waiting for acceptence email..also i pay the $88 fee on Aug 2 and send my 864 form on Aug 8..help me out what is the next process..?
