Just wanted to know how I go about re-newing my passport. It runs out this year. Has anyone else gone throught this? I have my temp green card, will this affect anything?

You do it through the UK embassy. Green card doesn't affect it.

You do it through the embassy in washington.

There is a passport section here. You should be able to download the form. You will need to phone up the passport service section to find out the fee. I paid $96 last year. It takes about 3 or 4 weeks to get processed. Nb. do not phone washington embassy they will pass you onto the passport service section; you also do not want to be on the phone to these people for too long it is something like $2+ per minute.

Do you know where I can find the forms that I need in order to send off an application for a new passport? I tried looking for one on that web site but I couldn't find one.
