Both actually. With the IR/CR-1 SLEC wants the NVC Instructions Letter.

Weird, because they didn't even ask to see hers when she went two weeks ago. And, no, she didn't have the NVC letter either, just an automated NVC reply to our inquiry. She had the MNL number.

Our email to them, yes, we put it on there. On their automated reply, no. We just printed both and hoped St. Luke's would would take it. They did, no questions asked, nor did they ask for her embassy interview appointment letter.

We didn't get the real NVC response email until two weeks later. Heck, we got the snail mail version a week before that (but still long after the medical was done and in the books).

Just a curious question. Why would you include the MNL # in an email request FOR the MNL # ?

Ms. Shiela,

Normally, appointment letter with interview date is presented to us during the medical examination. However it is your discretion to have the medical examination without the appointment letter, for as long as you know your case number and visa preference category.

I would like to ask if you still conduct advance medical, my mom got approved july 29, 2013 and got the NVC case # and paid the aos and iv bill online. Waiting the case complete soon.

She is 58 years old, if ever you allow advance medical , what she needs to bring.

I guess the reason why St. Lukes is now requiring the NVC letter if there was no scheduled appointment yet, is because there were applicants who were going to St. Lukes without the appointment yet nor the NVC letter but just the manila case number....

The NVC letter is what they send before they send the case #, right? Or isthe case # on the NVC letter?

We received our letter from NVC stating our INS number from USCIS and the Case Number MNL#XXXXXXXXX and that our file is on it's way to Manila and the address of the Embassy in Manila. So with that letter we are good to go with St. Luke's Right?

Yup that is what SLEC is stating the want to see if you don't have the interview confirmation letter . Scan and email it to your fiancée, she will need to make copies for everyone
