Have you called USCIS if your case was transferred to NVC or NRC...I had read some cases was forwarded to NRC instead of NVC

Sometimes, they give the Invoice number together with the NVC case # upon calling them...Yes, u can call them for the invoice number..When did u get ur MNL case # again?..In about 2-3 days, NVC will send you an Instruction letter containing the MNL case number, Invoice number and Beneficiary ID number..

Don't worry they won't notice you even if u keep calling them..They have quite few people who will answer the call anyway, and it's part of their job too, so it is expected already..

Vic20r, I called uscis yesterday but they refused to tell me anything. The lady I spoke with told me to wait 90 days from approval notice and if nvc don't have my petition by then I should call uscis again. Is this normal procedure? Has anyone heard of that before?

Did u request a supervisor at USCIS?..Maybe you should do that...Normally it would only take 20days to 1 month but yeah i heard this happened lately..I guess you have to call NVC again and ask them what to do..Sometimes they will tell you to scan your NOA2 and to email it to them and then NVC will just coordinate with USCIS for you..

Hey guys, I have an update about my case and anyone waiting to hear from NVC might find this interesting. My I-130 was approved on May 20, 2013 and was forwarded to the NVC. A few weeks later i called them to get my case number but they had no records of my petition.

Eight weeks later I called them(had already scan my approval notice and sent it to nvcresearch twice) and I got the same answer. Called USCIS a few times but I got the same answer even did a service request for me(which didn't help) finally they told me to allow them 90 days to get the case to NVC so I waited. 90 days later(yesterday) NVC don't have the case and USCIS won't tell me where the petition is.

I immediately contacted my senator's office about the issue and they said they are gonna help. Today, I just got an email from USCIS which stated that they sent my petition to ''NRC'' rather than NVC and to allow them a few days to get it back from them so that they can forward the petition to NVC.

Will keep u posted on how things turned out in a few weeks.
