thanks so much chloe <3 so happy for you and all you lucky peeps getting yours today in hand no more of this agonising waiting!

Mine hasn't changed today so my man called a number for usa calling and got through to someone who said that ceac is often not accurate and mine isn't in 'ready' but is infact in AP and has been since 5th aug (my interview day) so not sure if this is good news or bad :/ Only spoken to 4 people on the same line to find out this info, all others didnt seem to care and just told us to wait..... well, I guess finding this out I am still in that boat but at least I have more accurate info, my man said that it seems all others he spoke to just checked on the ceac site and told him to wait where as this man actually checked elsewhere too and stated that their shouldn't be a problem. I know there is at least one other has been waiting since 2nd aug with this same problem so lets hope there is an end soon, starting to panic about the wedding now, its on the 14th sept :/

leaving on a plus, I picked up my wedding dress today smile.png

I hear ya! :) Still waiting,my man has also contacted the DoS from the States and he had to leave a message so i hope he hears back from them. My status still says "Ready" on the CEAC website and i think it's not accurate either by what other people are saying, you never know, anyday now it could show up "issued" :) Gotta think positive ;-) x

Mine still says Administrative Processing on the CEAC website, however i had a call that i missed, so they are going to call back on wednesday to pay over the phone for my visa delivery.. they told me i should recieve it on thursday. So you cant rely on what the CEAC update is, as they are late updating it. Mine didnt say "ready" until 4 days after i already had the interview! So im sure its behind a little to the actual progress to date.

I think I saw someone saying it's an average of 6 working days from the date of your interview, but it depends possibly on how straight forward your case is (do you have children, previous marriages etc) and also if you happen to be in administrative processing for a bit longer than others for whatever reason.

I think the home delivery courier is 'DX'. Hope that helps.

I phoned the Embassy today, and they couldnt give me any further info as to whether it had been sent out or not which was poor. I dont think the person i spoke with really knew what he was doing. I also spoke to the embassy courier again today and they havent received it yet from the Embassy. But said they should be able to call me tomorrow with an update. I also just checked the CEAC website and it says "issued" so any day now!

I called the courier on: 0844 371 0000 (the automated service asks for a tracking number. i didnt have one so i just pressed any numbers and someone answered the phone).

The courier called again and left a message for me to call them back tomorrow about delivery payment and collection. But they told me to call them back on a different number, which was: 08712656666. So you might want to try this number if you get nowhere with the other telephone number. Hope this helps!

thanks so much rascalcat! :) we may use that and I'll let you know...I have this odd feeling we will hear from them tomorrow..if not, we're trying these numbers. :D

I do have a question though - when you said they want to call you about delivery payment - did you not already pay on the new website? I think the money was already taken out of my fiance's account...was that not the case for you?

I didnt pay on the new website. Had no idea that option existed until i went to the interview. So the guy at the Embassy who interviewed me told me that I would receive a call from the courier to arrange payment of the delivery and delivery date.

I think maybe that second telephone number could be the actual number for the DX courier department that does all the deliveries for the London Embassy. So this is probably a good number to keep a hold of, as they should be able to tell you if they have your passport and documents ready to deliver. They will take your address and postcode and tracking number if you have one. (dont know if you have a tracking number when paying for the courier on the new website, as i didnt pay before the interview).

The woman at DX was very helpful over the telephone, and if they cant find anything in their system, then they are sure to help resolve the problem, as after i called to inquire, someone called me back the same day.. (even though i told them to call back the next day, as i was on my way to visit my sister in Wales) So they left a message for me to call them back regarding delivery payment and delivery. So it definitely moved things along. I will also update you on what happens after i call them on that number tomorrow.

Here's our experience thus far:

Successfully (after many failed attempts) paid the MRV fee online and booked the courier location with the new system. Decided not to pay the $30 for door delivery.

Interview date: 14th Aug (approved - told would have passport within 10 working days)

CEAC website updated to "Issued": 15th Aug

Received email from DOS London - released document related to Visa received (DX tracking number and post code were included in this email): 19th Aug

DX tracking status changed from "Booked for Collection From Collection Point": same day

DX tracking status changed form "Booked for Collection From Collection Point (Now Out For Delivery): 20th Aug...to be continued...star_smile.gif

How long since petition mailed...

Hmm, today will be the third working day (fourth if you count interview day) that my CEAC has said issued. Although I don't plan to leave for a couple of weeks, I'd feel better knowing my passport was at least back in my possession or on it's way... Hoping to hear something today.

I was thinking that as well. We've paid on the new website and the money for the courier has been taken out of my account, so I hope they don't phone up asking me to pay twice.
