Recent interviewees - do you have your passport yet??

Ok guys...my fiancé got 3 emails saying the payment was taken for the courier, and that the registration for his delivery was successful, yet no tracking number, still in administrative processing on CEAC and status still attend interview on the other website. I'm secretly wishing they are behind on updating the websites and that the visa will be sent soon seeing since he's paid the delivery fee. Is this being a bit too hopeful? Lol

Hi Rachael, Just to let you know that number you were given is an American number so you have to press 001 before the number so it should be 001 202 663 1225 to reach the U.S. I haven't had my visa/passport yet either and had my interview on the 2nd August and I have a friend who had hers on the 5th August and hasnt received hers back also. It seems anyone who had their interview in the first week of August is struggling to get their passport back. I called the DoS yesterday and they said the case is in AP and they cannot give any info on how long it will be but he said the checks are the usual they do while processing.

I can't believe you are still having problems, I've been coming back on every couple of days to see if theres any good news for you and still nothing. I swear they need to provide compensation to all the people who've waited over twice as long as they were meant to, and 5 times longer than the norm. Thoughts are with you, I hope things change any day now and you don't have to cancel your wedding! <3

Awww thanks crashsle <3 you're very thoughtful It's all you guys here that get us limbo guys through it moan and freak out always being there with a kind word, THANK YOU!!! It does seem to be people from the first week of august thats having a terrible time for some odd reason, it's just this not knowing thats scary. IIf only there was an actual number to someone that actually knew about the K visa's, It just seems to be a huge black hole for that type! Nobody I call on english line numbers can tell me a thing they tell me they can't even check my status yet my man over in usa can check on the number he calls... very frustrating when your trying to keep the cost of international calls down after being broke buying 4 visa's and needing flights lol.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you all.. hopefully it will be any day now that the embassy receive your packages for the courier. I am sat here waiting for mine to be delivered today, as i had a call yesterday that my passport etc. is being delivered today. Will be glad when i have it in hand and can check that all the details on the visa are correct.. only thing left for me to worry about!

What a disgrace the courier and online facility is. I get a call yesterday from the embassy to say its ready for delivery, they want to charge me £8 for it. But ive already signed up online for $30 home delivery. So she takes details and says that's fine.

I then get an email from USVISAINFO saying my items now been dispatched to the pick up location. So i call CSC ( USVISAINFO ) they say there's nothing they can do I'll have to contact DX Courier and that I've paid for home delivery so should be fine. I email DX Courier, they say its waiting to be picked up and if I want home delivery I need to contact CSC and pay $30. Unbelievable over a year since my we applied for this thing and at every point during this process something has gone wrong. Even down to the medical where they gave me my results and put the incorrect passport number on the results.

I'm so fed up of the whole thing.

As of now remain "issued" with no sign of a passport to be delivered. Attend interview on the us-visa site. Very frustrated.

I join everyone in frustration with this waiting...ours has shown "issued" since 8/14 and nothing yet.

My fiance was able to get ahold of someone in the embassy today that was able to confirm his visa left the Embassy but wasn't able to tell him what day...we're assuming it's today. The courier said if they do get it today (it's already 2pm there and they don't have it yet), he may be able to pick it up tomorrow but that's not looking likely since they still don't have it and no tracking number has been issued yet..still says "attend interview". With the bank holiday Monday, looks like realistically the earliest we will have it is Tuesday if we pick it up...I really thought he'd be here today. ugh.

jkinver - this is very similar to what happened to me. It's an absolute disgrace. I've been charged twice for home delivery and had to go and pick it up today from a London DX hub as they wouldn't deliver it to my home address. They keep passing the buck - I wouldn't even know where to get a refund for the $60 courier fee.

So the courier just said they will deliver his visa tomorrow between 8am and noon...we're not booking our flight until we have it in hand because they originally said they wouldn't deliver on a Saturday..but keeping our fingers crossed it's done tomorrow and he's on a flight Sunday night or Monday.

Jeff/Emmy- what a PITA but I'm glad you got it at least.

Thank you so much Still waiting patiently for any sort of information on the case and constant checking of CEAC site. I'm desperate for some news but i think i cannot do anything but wait now,even speaking to the DoS they say the same thing over and over.
