I actually have no idea who they are. I am beyond frustrated. Apparently I need to contact the embassy to sort this out because they didn't give 'permission' for my passport to be home delivered.

Lost, I have. They are just saying that I need to collect it from the collection depot and that if I wanted it delivered I have to sort out things with the embassy.

Also they must be stupid or something, because the whole point of you wanting it delivered is because you cant travel to the depot to collect it. Thats why we are paying for delivery. Its your right to request it be delivered...plus the fact that you have already paid for this. They are shrugging their responsibilities to you as the customer.

Rascalcat, i know, it's so crazy. I'm driving up to London tomorrow to get it because this is so ridiculous. I haven't tried to ring the embassy a second time because the number they (DX) gave me to contact them went straight to info about the VWP for people in the U.K and not a person or operator.

I am beyond frustrated right now. Sod's law I will get up there tomorrow and find out it's 'out for home delivery'.... ugh!

Why are they telling you to sort it out with CSC. Isnt CSC the California Service Center?

Computer Sciences Corporation. They're the people who run the new visa/courier payment website.

Also i think it is poor that the courier does not email a receipt for delivery payment.

I received a receipt for my courier payment. The system must only issue them when it feels like it, which doesn't surprise me from the problems people are having.

Question for those with issued status on ceac but have yet to hear a tracking number. When you log on to where the MRV was paid, what is your status there? For the k2 in our situation who has received a tracking number, it lists the tracking number. For the k1 who is issued but no notice in regards to a tracking number , it states "attend interview".

Ok guys really confuse here...CEAC still says administrative processing, and my fiancé called the embassy two days ago and they took payment from him for the delivery. He got an email from the Yatri visa appointment and info service team that says go to this website: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-GB/users/sign_in to complete your application. So we went on and it says status "attend interview"....but his interview was August 5th??? What's going on here?

It will continue to say "Attend interview" until your passport is with the courier, then it will change to the tracking number.

Mine said the same until yesterday, and my interview was last week.

how did he sign up to this site?! I am trying now but it asks for you to input the visa type... but the K1/K2 visa is the only one not listed there?!

He called the embassy and they sent him an email with the site link and he just had to put in his email and make up a password and it was all there.

It will continue to say "Attend interview" until your passport is with the courier, then it will change to the tracking number.

So this means his passport is still with the embassy? What do they need it for 12 days for? Uggghhh sorry getting frustrated

maybe im just missing something, but why cant the US embassy be prepared enough to issue the visa at the interview if you are approved? Shouldn't all research, documents, etc be completed prior to the interview? DX prolly lines their pockets enough to not ever want to change though

The whole thing is just poorly organized. I am not sure why the embassy would need to do additional background checks after the interview, especially after approval. They already have the best part of a year to do all the checks they need to do. It takes a long time to get the documents to the courier. Government departments do not seem to be able to communicate with each other in order to get things done efficiently. Such simple things that my 1 year old son could organize it better!

I can't believe you are still having problems, I've been coming back on every couple of days to see if theres any good news for you and still nothing. I swear they need to provide compensation to all the people who've waited over twice as long as they were meant to, and 5 times longer than the norm. Thoughts are with you, I hope things change any day now and you don't have to cancel your wedding! <3
