I would think you had better have a place already. My recollection is there was a question as to where the beneficiary would be living. I assume you can correct that with immigrations if you move.

Eric had just moved into his new place (moved to another state) a couple of weeks before i got there to spend the summer with him. We sent the i-129-f when i was about to leave so on the forms we had that address since there is where we are going to live until june and then we want to get a two bedroom place so his kids or my family can come visit, and so we dont have to have the computers in the living room... we should not need them so much after i am there anyway

My hubby already had an apartment for us to live when I arrived, he rented that place long before he met me though. So other than cleaning up his messy place, I don't have to move and change my address that can mess up my immigration paperwork.

I think it would be nice if you already have a place for you and your fiance to live together, but if you don't, you can always find one once she/he gets here and decide on a place that you both like. Just make sure that the EAD, AOS and stuff have the proper address so you don't get screwed.

Luis moved out of his parents into a rental apartment the week before I arrived. All we had was our bed when I arrived, and the eletronics scattered around the floor. Now we're almost settled in, although we're still in need of a sofa and a washing machine so I can get out of coin laundry places.

Rob's looking for a place now. If he can't find something suitable we will stay at his parents til we can.

The address on all the forms is theirs anyway, I think we'll just keep having the mail sent to them regardless to avoid any confusion with address changes.

When I moved back to the US, I knew Amed would (hopefully) be following me a few months later, so I moved in with my folks to save some money. They were really helpful to us, and at least this way, we knew we'd have a permanent address to give to immigratiton. Once he got here, we lived with them for a while until we had our big wedding. In the mean time, we looked for a place to live. We finalized the deal right before the wedding, and moved in when we got back from our honeymoon.

We are still in the process of getting settled, but everything is going well so far. Luckily, I had a lot of furniture and was able to store it at my parents' house. We got a lot of other household items as wedding presents, so we have most of what we need. And, Amed and I got to choose a place together that suits both of our needs.

Just making sure it is as clean as possible cause I have already told Anna I have no sense when it comes to decorating a house so she is free to make what ever changes she wants. To me, is her being with me that will turn it from a house to a home. Everything else is asthetics.
