I didn't take into account the possible benefits of being "frisked." Maybe I should change my position on that.

Bloomberg has no regard for rights.

I am a bit dismayed to see the same folks that would have thrown out our 2nd amendment rights are no outraged that Bloomberg wants to take away 4th amendment rights. He also had his declaration of what size drink you can have ruled unconstitutional. They want to take ALL your rights, they start with the unpopular ones and work from there.

The elimination of the 4th amendment is necessary in order to eliminate the 2nd amendment.

And the guys that were doing the stopping and frisking are the police....y'know the guys with guns you will call when your wife or children are attacked. Good plan.

Republicans want reduced government but not if it is for searching people without reason. They want to eliminate goverment waste but not if it means ending the war on marijuana that you can buy easier than booze.

Dems want to take away guns but not the right to choose (as long as we are talking about abortion) and not the right to be safe from unlawful searches.

I think crime rates always go down when you start marching down the road towards becoming a police state. I would guess the crime rate in North Korea is pretty low.

I recall that the USSR had no laws regarding prostitution. None. Why? "There are no prostitutes." VOILA!!!!!!!!!!! There you have it!

The central parts of Ukrainian cities have very low crime but there are police everywhere! Several different levels of police, many of them plainclothes. They have no 4th amendment, they do but it is not regarded. Polic will stop you on the street, ask for your "papers" (you have to carry your internal passport if Ukrainian or a foreign passport if a foreigner) Foreigners are highly recommended to tour in guided groups and a police officer or 2 or 3 follows closely behind to protect the tourists.

These areas have low crime. Outside these areas you are on your own.
