I'm hurt.

You know I didn't mean you. We Canadians stick together.

I was thinking the same thing.

You either. There are maybe one or two others and then the rest are on my "don't take seriously" list.

You guys remember the hatred for Gwb? Not so different.

He actually started a few wars and invaded the wrong country...oh and didn't find any WMD's.

Obama instituted health care...yeah, the same.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Let's not pretend that's the only reason people dislike Obama.

The real reason people don't like Obama is because he is black.

I don't like him because he's Muslim and wasn't born here.

He posts all the time about Obama being the only one that has had to deal with racism. Just yesterday he was going on about the birth certificate thing being racist. I'm sure there were plenty of black folks out there the didn't like Bush simply because he was white.

There have always been white presidents. I wouldn't doubt you had some racial predujice against some of them. I don't recall hearing anyone yell go back to Europe though.

Marvin is a great guy but his race meter is in need of calibration.

Heck Bill Clinton and Hillary got it worse than Obama.

If that's true, you need an overhaul.

I think there is some underlying racism in spending years trying to prove that the President is un-American. Maybe not by all who do it, but by some. When a black President is consistently told to go back to Africa, you have to see how people can take that in a racist way.

But I don't think Marvin believes that Obama is the only President ever to deal with hatred, which is the comment I was responding to.

I'm not denying sh*t. It has nothing to do with me or anything I said.

I read all of Marvin's posts. Sometimes he sees racism in things where there isn't any sign of it, but I can understand why.

You posted that you've been told time and time again that Obama is the only President that offensive sh*t has happened to. I doubt that very much.

Thanks for seeing what I have to deal with. Some articles claim racism where there isn't any, but being a minority I am more sensitive to it.

I hope I am on the good list. If not, I have to cry racism on GProfl.gif

Sorry Marvin, I've actually been informed that I'm just your cheerleader who has no idea what they're talking about because I don't live in the deep south or an inner city.

I tried.

Good news is that those who do live in the deep south and inner cities will be along soon to tell you how you actually feel/think. They know better than you.
