Black people do this to an extent as well. Sometimes seeing something highlighted by the most extreme cases that isn't necessarily there.

Sometimes they do. Like when they throw their weight behind someone who is clearly a criminal. Or when we fight to keep the N-word for ourselves yet get mad if a white person says it.

So you're cool with a less qualified black person getting admission into a university over a more qualified white person? Seems like racism to me.

That's not what I'm saying.

Its our outer edges that drive our groups and the division of our races.

I'm not, but here's the dilemma. Most public black schools don't teach the same curriculum as private white schools. You've got kids that want to succeed but without the proper tools, drive can only get you so far. I've posted the disparities between white and black schools. It's a problem.

I'm just saying people tend to freak out too much about the slippery slope. Something whites and blacks both do to complicate the issues we have unresolved on the table.

You had your answer above but you missed it. It's not white vs. black schools. It's public vs. private schools. I don't think race matters when at all in this area when your mother kicks you out into the real world at day 1. It's what happens to you after that. Once your subjected to union techers and public schools and all that B.S. which just so happens is more prevalent in black communities, than white communities, that's where the problems start. Teachers should be paid based on performance, not how long they've been on the job. Actually all workers should be paid based on performance, not based on how long they've been there.

My mom just retired, 40+ years as a teacher. We've had this discussion before. http://rollingout.com/culture/public-schools-spend-less-money-on-every-black-student-in-america/

She has taught in quite a few districts, and always makes note when she travels to white neighborhoods to public schools that need her reading recovery skills. She says it's like night and day.

Simply throwing money at problems doesn't fix them.

It's not about the money, it's about the teaching staff, the material and some other factors.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — A clown wearing a President Barack Obama mask appeared at a Missouri State Fair rodeo this weekend and the announcer asked the enthusiastic spectators if they wanted to see "Obama run down by a bull."

The antics led the state's second highest-ranking official, Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, to denounce the performance in a tweet Sunday. He said it was "disrespectful" to the president.

"We are better than this," the Republican tweeted.

I agree Most conservatives are better than that.

That is the kind of behavior i would expect from ** occupiers, with Bush Masks on
