how long should i expect to wait for interview date?

sent all of my forms off last week,also had my medical late last week,so I'm expecting the embassy to receive my results around Wednesday.I've learnt during this process there is no real time line for anything,but on average once the embassy have the medical results how long is it before they mail you with the interview date?

I am wondering this, myself. I looked at the K1 processing times, and it looks like this year, people have been getting interviews in London about two, three and sometimes even 4 months after NOA2.

This shows recently assigned interviews, and you can see the difference in time between NOA2 and interview.

It's a month today since they received my medical results, no interview yet. :/ Although I do seem to have been forgotten, everyone else around me has a date.

From what I've seen on timelines here, London interview are usually somewhere in the range of 6 weeks after the medical, assuming there are no extenuating circumstances. Of course this is just what I've seen watching other London timelines. Personally, I'm still waiting to hear when my fiance's interview will be. She had her medical on July 30. We expect a letter with our interview date any day now.

Gosh I really hope I don't have to wait months ,I was under the impression it would be a matter of weeks once they have my medical results

With that being said it's hard to judge by looking at the time difference between others noa 2 and interview date.as everyone is different.some may take longer to send their forms and book Medicals after receiving their noa 2. So that's why im more curious in knowing once the embassy has everything how long is it til they contact you.

No its not that, many people do this. I already knew London had received the file and by the time they received the forms and logged them, I had received Packet 3.

Packet 3 is only a link to their website anyway.

No its not that, many people do this. I already knew London had received the file and by the time they received the forms and logged them, I had received Packet 3.

Each time the CEAC site updated, I phoned up the DOS to ask what the update was.

It's quite useful for knowing how your case is progressing.

Yea i doubt the delay is because you sent your forms early, as long as London have your case i think its safe to do that.

Even though we are now at the last hurdle I'm finding this part the most frustrating as when I was in california earlier this year I found my dream wedding venue .once we received our noa 2 my fiance mum and sister put a deposit down to hold a certain date as a surprise .I only found out like a week ago.as lovely as this is they done it without realizing it isn't wise to make any wedding commitments til the Visa is issued.so now I have a wedding date set for Nov 23rd there is alot of excitement but I'm also getting in abit of a flap about everything being sorted in time .ideally I'd like to think I could be in states by late September but now in abit of a panick having a set wedding date.I also didn't state the wedding date on my cover letter as I didn't find out the surprise untill I had sent it off

Honestly Novemebr 23rd is pretty far away, unless something unusual happens I think you will make it well in time for this. I would contact the venue if I were you and explain the situation to them and that they may have to be flexible with you as you are going through a unique process.

You can try emailing or writing a new letter to the embassy to inform them that you now have set a wedding date and would appreciate having an interview before then.

I think you're still on fine course to be done and over there well before November though, so although I know it's hard to do, I wouldn't worry too much.

They'll be finishing up on the student visas soon enough since the new school semester starts very soon, and that's what'll have been keeping them very busy over July/August.

Also, that's very sweet of your mum-in-almost-law and sister-in-almost-law to do! Where in California are you getting married?

I sent my packet 3 last week as signed for, and Royal Mail show they signed for it this morning at 10.30 by "Dan" but my CEAC status hasnt updated
