You might be better off with the K1 at this moment because Florida is VERY slow on the I-130s. You'll be together faster significantly IMHO with the K1.

Thanks for the heads up..

Also as far as the price goes. I thought if we filed the childrens AOS with my fiances/wifes that they were only roughly 600 each? Not the full 1070. If they were filed at same time. Maybe I misread.

Oh you're right!!! Good thing to point out!!! Learned something new! YAY:

$635 is the fee for children under the age of 14 if you're filing them all at the same time. That certainly skews my numbers. AOS for 3 children and wife = $2975!

Grand total is approx $5270 vs whatever I wrote before... happy.png

I only found out about the 630 from this site. I was happy to find it out as well..

So yea the AOS being only 2975 makes it make more manageable. What is the Grand Total number you have? Are the Consulate fees really that high?

$340 initial petition

$240 per visa (x4)

$50 (most likely less, that's a top figure) for the police clearance

$300 for your wife's medical

and I totally over did the kids... it's only $150 for them. LOL lemme get you a NEW grand total (helps when you research eh?) = $750 for medicals (cash only)

= $2100

+AOS = $2975

Total = $5075

Not including travelling or moving fees obviously.. Or marriage costs when finally in the USA.

I guess when they say love hurts they mean right in the wallet ;)

Thanks for the break down I never actually did the numbers completely (as I could care less the cost, love does not have a number) but my estimate was really close to that number so I am glad I was not to far off.

If you were living in California I would have more strongly suggested the CR1 since they're quicker. But because of where you are, the K1/K2 is certainly faster. I wish I knew more about the CRBA to help you in that area but we do have a CRBA section on the forum you can try so search around.
