First of all, Sorry if I'm putting this is the wrong place.:)

I had my physical this morning and everything seemed to go fine. I'm just looking for some peace of mind I guess. I'm a little worried about some questions he asked. When he asked about my parents and how old they are I told him that my mum had passed away. He asked how and when and I told him breast cancer when she was in her 30's. I was only around 8 so I don't remember her age exactly. Then he asked about how often I get checked and I said I check myself regularly. I said there was a free mammogram day coming up at the college and I was planning on going to that also.

Then he asked if I'd had the blood test done to know if I'm high risk and I said no. He said I should really get it done soon, as my mum had cancer so young, and we talked about that for a while.

I'm just wondering if that is going to make an impact on my exam results. Or if they can request that I go get the test before I get my residency.

I'm thinking it won't matter but I'm also a little panicked right now..

It won't matter for your visa at all, no. The doctor was trying to help you with your real health, something that lasts longer than visa stress. He wants you to get tested for the "bad breast cancer" gene so you can know what you're up against. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
