Hi everyone,

I'm trying to set up travel arrangements for Lirio from her home to Manila. I was wondering if she can get her St. Luke's medical done anytime (like now, so she can combine it with CFO seminar and have it out of the way). Her medical appointment date is January 5th, but if we can get her in early while she's taking care of other stuff (NBI & CFO), then we'll save a trip to Manila.

Has anyone done their medical before the appointment date? Do you have to call St. Luke's to schedule it earlier?

Thanks in advance!

Hehe, that's what we are planning on doing too. :D

A lot of people have done this. Apparently you don't even need to reschedule, you can just show up e arly at St. Lukes, but personally I would call to reschedule. Keep in mind that St. Lukes will keep her passport, so if she does the CFO after the exam, she will need plenty of ID at the CFO to get in (I suggest the interview letter too), In that case it might be better for her to get the NBI before the CFO seminar so she has the NBI for ID at the CFO. Of course if she does the CFO the day before the exam then she will have her passport for ID.

Keep in mind the 28-day recommended wait after MMR vaccine.

She's going to wait until she get's here (US) before vaccinations.

Has anyone done their medical early? What was your experience? Did you have to schedule it early? How long did it take?

I have done my medical almost 2 weeks before the original appointment and you just have to show up without rescheduling. Make sure you have your honey bring her appointment letter (original and photocopy) as they will put a stamp on the original and keep the photocopy. Yes, they will keep her passport after she's done with the 2 days medical. The vaccinations are included in the fee you pay for the medical fee. They usually only give you 2 shots.

definitely yes...they only want to know when is the interview date, and u can have the medical exam anytime before the date. The result is good for six months. just provide the requirements and bring the appointment letter or the approval letter with ur case number.

Hi,

Has your girl been to her early medical exam? We had the same medical and visa appointment date. Im done with my medical exam last Dec 5th a month ahead of my medical exam sked. It went fine, I just went there at St. Luke's and showed my appointment letter and passport. The medical exam took one day and on the second day was my vaccinations (2 shots, MMR and Varecilla). It took one and a half day to get it all done.

She has not gone to her medical yet. She's planning on going later this week. Does she have to go to Day 2 if she's going to wait 'till she gets here to get her vaccinations?

When you go back on the second day for vaccinations is it in the AM or PM?

Usually they do the vaccination on the second day even if your done in the morning of the first day. I think if your done early on the first day, you will get your vaccination on the morning of the second day.I went there past 7 am and was done at 3pm and went back on the second day at 1:30 pm for the vaccination and waited for the last call where all your medical papers will go through in which you will be called at the counter and they will give the x-ray film and take your 2 pcs visa photos, was able to get things done by 5:00 pm.
