I wore dress pants, a nice shirt, a cardigan, flats, minimal makeup and wore my glasses. I was pretty surprised that I was one of the more dressed up people there. Most people were in ripped jeans, yoga pants, and a couple of people were in sweat pants.

At the consulate I went to (Vancouver), the co could only see me from my waist up. Just be comfortable :)

Okay, so i just got this from my good friend who currently works at the Canadian Embassy.

She suggested me not to wear jeans since the place I will go is an embassy. Her reason is make sense wink.png

why not go the day before, study all the womens and what they were, the day before your interview?

Umm, the interview is tomorrow and today I have to print some emails and some stuffs to do so I don't think I have time to go there, but that's a good idea to those who will have their interview soon :)

I've been there twice so I think I will check my closet and see something comfortable to wear.

Me too! I think I was the only one in dress pants and not jeans. Many people were wearing really sloppy clothes in Frankfurt. There was one girl who was wearing high-heels (the kind that go up over your knee), a mini-skirt, and a super-deep shirt. I mean, c'mon - this is not a peep show! wacko.png

Okay, today is the BIG DAY!

what i did today was grabbing my favorite green blouse (favorite color increased my mood and confident), dark brown skirt (of course not a mini skirt) and flats (high heel is a hell for things like this)..

I felt so confident and GOT the WHITE SLIP!

HAHAHAHA

Yea i originally was thinking to buy like a pencil skirt and shirt and heels etc. but come to think of it i dont think ill be comfortable in that so ill just go for smart/cas! Maybe black jeans with wedges, hair down, contact lenses, moderate make up ...lol do guys have these problems?

I wore a suit and tie to our interview and my wife wore a pantsuit and heels. I was always taught that if you want to be treated with respect in any facet of life it helps to show respect by dressing properly for the occaision. It works.

I forgot my hair clip though. laughing.gif

Darnell, I made a bun, the clip was transparant and I let some pieces of my hair fell down, it felt like I was having a meeting with my boss for an appraisal and got my salary increased, HAHHAHA :P

Teddy, it's really true! I agree with you :D

Your hair need a clip too? LOL
