I think that's the bigger point. Judges shouldn't be allowed to change peoples names because they think they're dumb. What if they named the kid Mohammed or Yusef? Some people could make the argument the kid is in for a life of being labelled a terrorist because of his name. Should judges be allowed to step in then?

I think it's about context. Mohammed is a very common name in Muslim religion, so is Yusef. My brother in law is named Yusef. And if you're going to rule this kid can't have the name Messiah, then no kid should have that name.
