Hi

I've been checking other France visa timelines and it looks usual for cases to arrive at Paris Consulate in only 3-5 days after being shipped from NVC... should I be worried??

This probably also sounds silly, but my Fiance says that everyone in France seems to go on vacation in August... do you think they might be a short staffed at Paris at the moment?

Thanks - just so want this to be over now!!

Be very patient a little longer. One month between NOA2 and packet 3 in not unusual in Paris, sometimes even more. Plus as your fiancé said, this is vacation time.

Do you have all the documents ready for the next step? If not, then focus on that instead. :)

Just for anyone else interested - it took 12 days from NVC sending our case for it to arrive in Paris, or least until we got the 'Ready' status on the Ceac website.

Thanks.... Helped me calm down a bit.

NVC said our case left on Nov 21 and when I used the DHL tracking it says it arrived and was signed for in Paris on Nov 25 but the status says "in transit" and they say they don't have the file yet.

We were expedited with USCIS and NVC, just hoping things continue well...
