Hey Tim, what part of Manila is MAV? I just came from USEM for my interview and it wasn't raining that bad, haven't seen any flood too. Although, the intervnet connection right now is really bad. Those shots in the telegraph website, I'm guessing they aren't updated because Marikina River looks fine as of the moment unlike in the photos.

It appears it hit more than Manila, many miles away Olongapo, Zambales. The last message I got from Mav was in the bedroom with her sisters, but she did say waters were calming.

I'm really confused now.

Oh Zambales is Northern part of Philippines and yes typhoon is terrible. Sorry about that, but in Manila we're fine here (Zambales is far from Manila).

Oh sorry to confuse you Tim, I was confused by the link as well because the title says the word Manila, in fact the northern part of Philippines is greatly affected by typhoon and flooding but not Manila, we're only signal no.1-2 here. My prayers, Mav and her family are safe in homes.

Oh Zambales is Northern part of Philippines and yes typhoon is terrible. Sorry about that, but in Manila we're fine here (Zambales is far from Manila).

Yeah, Mav said up to waist in water and in the back bedroom which is 2 feet higher that living room. Thanks for reply. Just yesterday I get pics of sun and happy.. (Day difference). Now, I only think how devestaded Nanay and Tatay are.

My Fiancee's area was under signal 3 when we spoke yesterday. "Malakas ang hangin at ulan, pero may kuryente pa." is all she told me, as if it was no big deal. Gotta love how they will brave anything just to keep you from worrying...
