Hi Guys, i tried multiple searches but i didnt find anything (checklist is such a broad term to search for on this forum!)

i received the dreaded checklist from NVC. the one thing i got dinged on, was failing to put in a state for my country of birth. Unfortunately, my country does not have a state. Im assuming, they just want me to put N/A there?? the second, for the ds-260, was for not providing the full birth certificate (found it, and sending it now).

Does this mean, they want me to submit ALL documents (Tax returns, proof of employment, etc) back to them? or just the i-864 and the ds-260 document?

should i put a cover letter again and use the cover letter sheet they sent? (its sketchy, because it says not to use it, but im not sure if im supposed to use the original cover sheet when i submitted the package for the i864).

If you don't have a state or province then yes n/a would be applicable there.

I would write a quick cover letter stating what you are sending them. You should not need to submit all the evidence again for the I-864 but all the pages will need to be sent again. (They'll expect a new date and signature)

The NVC doesn't like the bar coded cover sheets for the EP emails, but people have sent them with the emails without problems.

There is a monthly NVC thread in the progress reports forum that you can always post in if you have a question and do not want to start your own thread. Your process is different than the OP's because I do not think your country does electronic processing or online forms. However, a tax return transcript is all that you should need. smile.png Keep in mind if you qualify off income alone, it shows on one more of your w2s from your recent tax years, and are only sponsoring one person who is immigrating you can use the I-864EZ rather than the I-864. smile.png
