Submitting I-129F and I-130/Processing Time from UK?

We will be submitting I 129F and I 130 at the same time so my husband can come and stay while the I 130 is being processed. I know the processing times vary from country to country and case to case, but what has been your history with the I 129F processing time from the UK?

From what I've read and experienced, the K3 process is almost obsolete. They didn't even give me confirmation of mine. But even if you were going to apply for the K3, you need your NOA1 from the I-130 to do so, so you can't send them at the same time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You'll be wanting to follow processing time for the I-130 for your IR/CR-1 visa. Your I-130 will be processed at more or less the same rate as from any other country, but the visa application part on the London embassy side is where you'll possibly make some time saving over other countries.

You're looking at about 4 - 9 months for the I-130 petition, then 3 - 5 months on the embassy side to get the IR/CR-1. There's quite a few people on here from the UK who've done your visa and can give you tips on getting through the embassy stage as quickly as possible.

You can study the data here on VJ to have a go at predicting how long it may take to get your NOA2 for I-130. It'll also help to know which service centre your petition goes to (you'll be able to tell from the NOA1), as they individually fluctuate through the year in terms of speed.

Nothing much at the embassy side. Remember it all processes at NVC in the US so same for all countries... forms, documents, payment, affidavit of support. NVC gives out the appointments too. So once you leave NVC, your interview appointment will already be set about a month away. Nothing to do but get the medical done. Nothing to take to the interview because it was all sent to NVC.
