Well it took me and my wife some time but we sent out the I-129F last week and to my knowledge I recieved the second notice it's the I-797c and well it says Chicago recieved it and does Chicago actually do the process of the forms and if so what has been the average time with them. Well I guess thats one less thing to worry about now :D

I think you talk about you NOA1 not NOA2. Am I right????

2006-08-29: I-130 Sent

2006-09-07: NOA1

2006-11-18: RFE

2006-11-28: RFE replay

2006-12-12: NVC Received

2006-12-13: Case number assigned

2006-01-06: received AOS fee bill

2007-03-29: INTERVIEW SUCCESSFUL

2007-03-30: VISA IN HAND

Well to be honest with you I am not quite to sure if its the NOA1 when do you recive the NOA2?

NOA1 is the first notice of action. You receive it when they frist get your case. NOA2 is second notice of action. That is the one you get when they aprove your petition. I think that you have got you NOA1 and that your petition will be forwarded to VSC or CSC. That is the way they do that right now...

It is difficult to tell. Some cases gets their aproval very fast. I have received my NOA1 two and a half months ago and still no NOA2. But I have seen some people getting them within 60 days. You can chek situation here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/ . It would be good to post your timeline there. That way you can track your case and let us all know what is going on with it.
