Aren't mods volunteers? If I'm right in thinking this, I don't see how we can expect them to moderate on that level.

Actually mods are highly paid for their work. I believe the starting pay is $80K per year and it goes up from there depending upon length of service. And the benefits package is unparalleled, rivaling members of Congress.

if you say it its a TOS violation. if i say it its cool.

i've yet to see any posting style changes or posts disappearing. so, i'm guessing continue to use your best judgement on what you should or shouldn't post. the mod team will let you know if your judgement needs fine tuning. yes, i'm sure past history & context will come into play when the mods look at the situation & make a decision on reports.

We Mods are already busy so depend on receiving a report to follow up on instead of having to take the time we are supposed to be spending with our our 'real life' families, jobs and interests in order to patrol the forums looking for them. Oh yeah, sleep, we're supposed to get that done sometime in each 24 hour period too.

And now I learn that we aren't volunteers and are supposed to be getting an 80K annual salary with benefits? Why are we always the last to know?!
