I received NOA2 on 7/31/2013, and was contacted by my senator on 8/5/2013 stating my case has been shipped to the consulate with an updated GUZ case number. When I enter it in the CEAC website, the status displayed is 'ready'. Please see the attached picture.

I am yet to hear anything from the NVC or the consulate, etc, just from the senator. Neither one of us have received anything in the mail either (other than the hardcopy NOA2).

I have started the creation of a ustraveldocs account, but I am unsure of what the priority date is and what they are looking for in the address section (asking for state when ofc china doesnt have any). What should we be doing now?

state = province

keep plugging at it - you want to be able to pay at CITIC and self-schedule an interview.

whilst yer waiting, though, please read through the posts in the CHINA forum - the k-1 visa chasers before you have documented much on what's what.

Other people have reported seeing status "ready" for quite a while. Others, like in my case, have only ever seen it say "administrative processing." I recommend you email the consulate directly. It'll take them a few days to respond.

You should have received a notice in the mail from NVC stating your case has been processed and will soon be forwarded to the consulate, but since you already have GUZ number, I'm not sure that's important anymore. Others will chime in. In any event, you can call NVC directly.

People say to leave the priority date blank but often you cannot continue without filling it in. I input the date the consulate received our case (which I in turn found out from NVC when I called them on the phone). As far as the address, I input my fiancee's address in Chinese characters. For state, I used province.

Hello,

My fiancee is in the exact same position. Our CEAC website shows 'ready' but we haven't received anything from the consulate. I already received the letter from NVC saying that they mailed my application to the consulate in late July, but as of last week, the consulate emailed me and said that they have not received my application. We've paid for the visa and are essentially waiting to self-schedule until we have some indication that the consulate has our petition and is working on it. (My fiancee doesn't want to schedule an interview and then cancel).

Sorry, but I can't help you with your other questions. Just letting you know you're not the only one in this situation.

Same situation. "Ready" status on CEAC since July 31. One month since filing P3 docs. No P4 email yet. I'll be damned if I can figure out how to either pay or book an interview time on that CGI Stanley website, though it seems that many of you have been able to do it.
