Your green card is probably in the mail *right now* and will turn up by the end of the week.

As for your SSN, you should probably just go visit your local SSA office.

Hello .

I payed 165.00$ ELIS Fee on JUL 05 / 2013 & Entered to USA at JUL 23 / 2013.

This is 08/10/2013 and i still didnt get my SSN and Permanent Resident Card .

Is it normal ? how long do i have to wait ?

When i loging to my account on ELIS

STATUS DETAILS

Your application/petition has been accepted and is pending review.

Look forward for correct answer .

Thanks

Paying the fee unlocks the trigger so that it can be pulled as a result of US entry. You're exactly 30 days from entry. I'd say any day now, but not overdue.

For the SSN, yes. If you didn't get it in the first 2-3 weeks then you should go to the SSA office to apply for it. The system of sending it automatically by checking off the box on the DS-230 is very flawed. Most people on the board seem to have to go get the SSN themselves.

27th and still i didnt get my green card .

do i have to wait ? cause card produced 20th

Type your IOE number into the case status tracker on the USCIS website. What does it say? It should provide you a tracking number and tell you when it was mailed out.

When you get an SSN you can get an ID card. It'll take 1-2 weeks to get the SSN in the mail. You can go back the next day and get the number BUT often with state ID they want to see the actual card. Each state is different.

finally i got my green card today .

now i have to go to get my ssn .

i am wondering if i can get id card or not ?

A SS card is not used for identification, not in any way or any place. It actually will say that on the card. Yes, you'll get the card in the mail when assigned a number.
